2015 S65
Just wondering if anyone has any experience negotiating on a '15 S65? My local dealer has one in stock msrp of $239K. The dealer has had it for 4 months. They are willing to take $10k off msrp. With all the discounts given on the S550, and the fact that they have a higher profit on the 65, they don't seem to want to deal.

I was looking at a gorgeous black S65 Coupe with the Deisgno Red/Black leather at my dealer in Burlington. I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger (just purchased a S sedan nine months ago), but my sense was they'd do a good bit better than that on it (sales person was talking north of 20k off)

5% off, not bad for an AMG located in CA/NY/Chicago/etc where most of the time dealers will just sit on MSRP
If you really want 10%, roll the die for the end of the year
Push them one more time now to see just how far they will go then wait until the 30th and tell them the number they need to hit for you to come in ASAP

It's MY16...been that for 3+mos
Any competent dealer in SF Peninsula/BH (rest of SF/LA are kinda Siberia) offers ?$5K off on any ordered '16 65 to any repeat cust at a competent/convenient dealer
65s sitting on lots are for sucker one-off buyers who clrly have no relationships w/relevant major MB dealers in region (and why is that?)...and for loser dealers that clearly lack repeat buyers who spec own 65s (and why is that?): self-selection amongst clowns perhaps
But two-way dynamic: need to choose to be repeat 65 cust at a relevant, competent, convenient dealer such that dealer can value one's repeat biz
And these are all 2yr leased 65s anyway, so discts are trivial vs lease pmts (&MB often buys out last 3-5mos of prior 65 lease anyway): who the hell wants to drive a >2yo 65 (or any car)?

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't buy any 2015 anything at this price point, for only 4.2% off, when the 2016 are out.

This car you are talking about I believe has a Matte finish which also makes it more difficult to sell. In addition, I think this dealer has another 2015 S65 to sell, if their website is correct.
