I am in the same boat. Looking for a low mileage 2015 and looking to sell my 2012. Yours looks fantastic. What was the delta in cost between the two?

I ended up selling the 2013 privately for 35K and bought the 2015 for 67K. The 2015 is fully loaded with Magic Carpet ride and then some.

I actually read your thread and it pushed over the edge to find another one. Once I found the car in the color combo and options I wanted I put a deposit on it after getting the price on it I had in mind.

S-550 MY2015
Nice S550, Bluemax. I know. I just traded in my MY2010 S550 for a MY2015 S550 of the same color as your new ride. I am very happy with the better get-up-and-go of the 449 HP engine, the addition of Distronic (still makes me smile when the car tracks along a smooth curve hands-free), the updated Comand screens and software and the Keyless-Go. And of course, the reason for making the move; the silk-beige interior that baths me in a sense of luxury.... at least until the floor mats get muddied...
Having said that, I will miss the understated elegance of the exterior of the 2010. On sale day, I parked the 2010 next to the 2015, both fresh in Paladium Grey. Strong feelings of the 2015 having a more masculine nature came through. Despite both having the same overall length, the 2015 stood taller, which may have lent to the masculine vibe, as does the wider chrome window trim. The 2015 is a mako shark while the 2010; a blue-tip.
What I will miss on the 2010 is minor, but not trivial: Less thrum from non-run-flat tires, a front grille not blemished with the square black-plastic radar screen, the flip-up pen/air gauge/pen-light tray on the each of the front doors, the glove-box that can hold more than just the MB documents portfolio and the bag-holder pull-down hook in the trunk. (And too early to tell, but the brake pad dust seems to appear sooner on the 2015's wheels).
What will make me forget the 2010 are the 2015's dynamic front seats, including massage feature and overall comfort, the acceleration of the 449 HP engine, and, may I mention it again, the silk-beige interior. (As an aside, the 2015's Comand manual (PDF version) explains its operation much better than the 2010 manuals, especially sections on navigation).

Gorgeous! Please, more exterior and some interior pics? So you got ppf and ceramic coating... was there any pain mars before you did this? was there lots of stone chips in the front you touched up first? I didn't realize people got this on 3 year old cars, I thought it was only newish or new cars. Good to know.
