** FREE set of MB wiper blades **

Follow this link. After entering your VIN you’ll receive a code good for a set of wiper blades in exchange for undergoing a free inspection by MB. Better than paying $180 or whatever.

P.S. For those who aren’t aware, for the W222 there are no alternatives to using OEM MB blades, due to the design wherein the fluid flows through the wiper and out numerous holes in the blade.

These “free” wiper blades are going to cost you thousands after MBZ service finds all kinds of things wrong with your vehicle after their multi-point inspection.

I agree that this was a great marketing ploy, even with a newer vehicle you can bet the dealer will find something worn or not covered under warranty.

“Your front end is out of alignment”
”intercooler and radiators are clogged with bugs or damaged fins from debris”
”blinker fluid low”
”cabin air pressure low”

I got the same advertisement and I had visions of unscrupulous dealers.

I bet you could drive a brand new Benz from the showroom over to the service department and the tech guys would find a bunch of stuff wrong with it.

Agreed. There is no reason for this to turn out differently from going in for a warranty service or regular maintenance. When I do either of those and the dealer tells me my brake pads are worn, I just say that I want to hold off until I get the warning light. If as with my last regular maintenance, they tell me my tires are worn, I tell them I can get through the summer with my old tires, and will replace them before snow season.

July is a slow time of the year so why not put some of the people to work on developing customer contacts and do some easy PR work. This special in USA only otherwise I'd take mine in to the new Dealer in Calgary and see what's up there. Apparently there is a wear indicator, Anyone know where this is?

Sorry Nice Ride......but the wiper blades are standard as your image shows....no special Magic Vision required. I got mine yesterday and had a free safety check (that is what it is) with nothing found and a free car wash. Oh and the wiper blades were $217 on the returned invoice and WERE FREE, thank you !! I guess with the current political climate...everything and everyone is suspect of some underhanded or devious agenda...sad !!

Got mine today. The SA said Mercedes made a mistake offering this but they were required to honor it. They replaced my with no hassle, just asked me for my pin.

Let them find them, you don't have to have them repaired.... If you purchase your blades from FCP, they will give you FREE replacements, no questions asked. So every 2 years, just send them the old ones and they will ship you a new set. Crazy as it sounds, they will do this for just about everything they sell. Mercedes and BMW.
