No Head-up Display ?

Heads up displays are useless with polarized sunglasses. End of story. I actually think they are overrated. Oh, I have that option on my S. Rarely do I use it.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I can still see the HUD with polarized sunglasses in my BMW but in darker weather it's almost impossible to see the display with those are on .Anyway, one wouldn't need to use sunglasses when there's no sunlight directly aiming his/her eyes

Polarized glasses are far more comfortable to look through than non-reflective ones, esp for longer drives. Which is why it is an important issue IMHO for car companies to work out with HUDs.
I have 3 diff pairs (Maui Jims, Ray Bans and a Revo that is the least polarizing). So once my car arrives, I will report back.
I love driving at night because I can see that gorgeous HUD all the time.

Not quite true. I have very light blue eyes and I am very photosensitive. I have to use sunglasses pretty much all the time, even in our coastal fog. Otherwise my eyes water. It has been that way since I was a kid.

I respectfully disagree. HUD is one of the best options I have on my vehicle (and I have all except the 3D sound and the fridge). Once one gets used to it, there is no going back. And the technology has been improving at a rapid pace as well, so it is night and day relative to the ones I had before.

True. I simply order a couple pairs of non-polarized glasses. One pair is always stored in the overhead compartment. Love the HUD. Would never buy a car without one again.
