WTT: 1989 Ford Mustang GT conv. 2 owner car with tasteful mods...
1989 Ford Mustang GT. The car has 140k miles and runs great. I have spent thousands of dollars on this car since I bought it. This car gets the most attention out of any of the 15+ cars I have owned. I get looks and thumbs up all the time. The fox body is gaining value daily. This is the most sought after bodystyle. I see verts in shape like mine going for 6-10k everytime I look on Mustang forums. This car is almost 20 years old so there is the normal ding or nick here and there for a daily driven car. I drive this car to work every day and wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a long trip. I recently drove to Destin FL in it which is about 6 hours from where I live. I love hopping in and dropping the top and feeling the breeze! This car burns no oil and runs smooth. I have replaced everything that needed replacing to make this car suitable for me to have as a daily driver.

*Convertible rear windows aren't rolling up and down right now(I was told there is a gear that needs replacing inside the motors that costs less than 3 dollars per side, and the side panels come off easily, no time to do it) This doesn't affect the top going up and down
*Front fog lights need replacing(5.0 resto sells them for around 60 dollars for a pair just like oem.
*Sometimes going into reverse gets a grind(I just do the old 5th gear, then reverse trick and it never grinds, I know several other people who have done the same for years with no problems)
*There is a small oil leak when parked for a few days(my mechanic told me he thinks it's a seal, said it's no big deal unless I just want to fix it and to just keep an eye on the oil)
That is all I can think of to tell about this wonderful car. I want to keep her but I tend to go through cars quickly. I change my mind often...I am open to hearing what people have to trade... I would like to get a 190 or something else...I am open to alot of choices...PM me if you have any questions or email me at fineagain81@gmail.com
Thanks
Dave
