FS or TRADE Patek Philippe 18K Outstanding
I would like to sell or trade for W203 or W210 (2001-2002) with under 70K.
The watch is with $21,700.00 insurance value.
The market value is in the region of 14 to 16,000.00
I am looking for a trade value around 12,000.00
Any offer will be considered.
In today's economy this is far better value for investment than a car but I need daily driver for my wife...so the watch must go.
After I purchased the watch in September 1990, it's been on my wrist ONE time only, that's it. IT IS NEW
If you know anything about Patek Philippe you should know that over the years they gain in value all the time. Some of the models command prices in 6 figures.
This is the best 18+years old gold watch around as it has been locked away in a bank vault since October 1990. (Purchased September 12 /1990)
The model reference is 3848, the movement serial number is: 1'338'378. Three-body, solid, polished, concealed lugs. Satiné blue with applied gold baton indexes. Yellow gold baton hands. Cal. 215, rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 18 jewels, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self compensating free-sprung flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 27 x 32 mm. Thickness 6 mm. The overall length of the strap including the watch is 214 mm or 8.5 Inches, the original leather strap is size 14mm at the inside part of the buckle. The leather strap is in NEW excellent condition
I am the original owner of the watch.
Certificate of origin purchase dated September 12, 1990. Burgundy Patek Philippe travel pouch, flyers, casket case, exterior cardboard box, instructions & insert flyers are all original that came with the watch. As you can see from the photos even the original plastic sleeve for the watch and parchment envelope the paperwork came in is included in this sale.
If there is interest PM me.
Thanks

Perhaps the same question goes for the painting of Pablo Picasso; Vincent van Gogh etc

It’s like the most expensive production car; Bugatti Veyron, the most expensive cell Goldvish, the most expensive sound system MBL Reference
There is a lot of watches out there that cost more than average 3 bedroom home and they still increase in value every day. It's a better investment than a stock market, that's for sure

There is some info on the subject of education

Sounds a bit like some of the people at a previous employer, they would have 200+ pairs of unworn shoes sitting in a closet.
