Mechanical / Cosmetic Issues:
Obviously, with this car being on the road for 13 years, there are some imperfections which keep it from being mint. I have done my best to list them below. For starters, the paint is in good shape but there are some paint chips, nicks and scratches due to normal wear and tear. The plastic body molding normally on the doors and under the front bumper has been removed, but as you can see, the car maintains the clean lines that A4s are known for. As I mentioned above, the interior is in really good shape, except for a scratch in the leather on the driver's seat. The front windshield is cracked and will eventually need to be replaced. I do not have an electronic key fob for the door locks, but the key does control the door locks and anti-theft system when manually locking and unlocking the doors. The fuel gauge recently stopped working, but the rest of the gauges (including speedometer, odometer, etc.) work fine. Mechanically, the engine runs strong, but the "Check Engine" light is on due to an O2 sensor. I don't think it's extremely expensive to repair, but I don't currently have the time to take it in to have it fixed. In addition, I knew that I was selling the car and I have adjusted the price of the car to capture this flaw. In addition, the "ABS" light is on. I believe there is something wrong with the ABS sensor, as the brakes have worked fine since I've owned the car. I have driven this car consistently in the harsh Midwest winters, including snow and ice, and my A4 has never let me down. The sure-footing of the Quattro all-wheel-drive system delivers excellent performance in all climates.
