Maintenance
-ALL MODS have less than 2500 miles on them (most are still nearly NEW!). I compression/leakdown tested the motor a couple months ago before putting it away for the winter, with perfect numbers across the board multiple times. When the clutch went in it got a new slave cylinder/hardline, and also newer pads/rotors. Also took care of the annoying window switches that plague these cars. PS hoses have been taken care of, no more leaks. Mostly everything has been tackled/is 110%!!!!!
-It's a 95, so it's OBD1 and passes emissions/gets a sticker NO PROBLEM!!!!!
Issues
-pass rear 1/4 panel, has iffy bodywork done to it. Paint shines great, looks fine from 5-10feet, but the body line is a little off. Can be seen in pics. Otherwise, minor chips/dings, its 16 years old!
-Speakers sound like ****, its a 95 w/ oem speakers (non HK) and they've seen better days. It's on my list of potential upgrades in the future.
-TOB squeaks/possibly clutch pedal. New OEM TOB was installed less than 1500 miles ago w/ the clutch. And I have the UUC clutch pedal bushings/clutch stop waiting to go in.
-MINOR vanos rattle. I'm not sure if its even the vanos, these s50's are a little ticky due to the lifters anyways. Once again, never was an issue, never even really noticed it. Could be my 5w-20 castrol I've been using. I just wanted to put it out there for potential lookers. Almost un noticable!
Basically, this is a fine example of an e36 m3. It's very well rounded, should be a 10 second beast on the 1/4 and murder on the track! I've never even driven the car at full power, I ususally have run it at 15psi and it's a handful as it is. Its 16years old, has very minor quirks I outlined above, but it will guaranteed put a smile on your face everytime you drive it. I have nearly 30k invested into this, looking for a trade listed above or CA$H!
no one will buy this for that price... Good luck like you said its 16 years old...
