Probably a long shot here, but I am getting ready for a change as my work car and wanting to sell my '95 Lincoln or trade it for a 92-96 W140 S-Class. I had been looking for a 93-96 Cadillac Fleetwood, but a 92-96 S-Class is my second choice. I drive this car to work 75 miles per day! (miles going up, as I drive this car around 70-90 miles per day!). Very reliable and gets 28-29 mpg highway!
1995 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series - 4.6L OHC V8 (smooth and powerful), automatic, leather, automatic climate control, cruise, tilt, steering wheel controls for HVAC and stereo, factory dual exhausts, heated mirrors, dual airbags, ABS 4-wheel disc brakes, traction assist, rear defrost, keyless entry, keypad entry, electronic instrumentation with fuel mileage/trip computer, auto climate control, sentinel headlamps, and much more! Seatbelts for 6, HUGE trunk compartment.
No longer has rear air suspension, was professionally converted to coils. Car has 190K highway miles. NO rust, original paint gleams! Never wrecked! Underside looks almost like new! Interior is nice and never smoked in! Nice Michelin tires.
New front Motorcraft shocks (less than 300 miles ago), new pitman arm, new ball joint. Still needs the alignment performed. EVERYTHING WORKS! Cold air, hot heat, all windows work, all lights, etc!
Issues: ABS light is on (was told likely a dirty sensor, going to look into that issue). Has some hail damage... on the hood. Not a perfect car, but a nice and reliable one that glides down the highway!
As mentioned, just wanting something different and wanting to perhaps trade for a 1992-96 Mercedes S-Class (LWB). I know it will be much more $$$ to maintain and service an S-Class compared to this Lincoln, but willing to take the chance. I would need a good running car, as my car is and its very reliable, I depend on it to get me to work everyday and would need the trade to be as reliable! I MAY add up to $500.00 cash in on the deal! (also if you happen to have a full-size 90s Cadillac / Buick or Oldsmobile in your fleet, may also trade for something like that as well.
Car located in NE Tennessee and unfortunately I cannot travel to meet anyone more than 50 miles - ill grandparents and special needs child, cant get away too far.
