Everyone knows an HRE P101 looks spectacular on a Ferrari 488 but not many are aware than HRE also offers the R101 Lightweight for this Italian exotic. Both wheel models share the same split 5-spoke design but the R101 LW takes things to the next level by incorporating weight saving techniques. These techniques bring weight down to a stunning 17.2 lbs & 21.2 lbs respectively. For those keeping score at home, that is almost 30 lbs lighter in total over the most lightweight OEM wheel option while being a full 2” wider in the rear to fit massive 355-section Pirelli P Zero’s. The diet continued with the Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust shedding close to another 20 lbs over the factory unit. Needless to say, this GTB is now fully tapping into the motorsport history that its DNA was built on.
