Belt problem w245, B180cdi
I have a strange issue with my wifes w245 B180cdi (2008)
Sometimes, (not always) i get noise from the belt, and the battery lamp goes on in cluster) It starts with a whistling sound form the belt, typycaly when car slows down to a trafic ligth, never when accelrating. After restart its fine again. One year ago i replaced the tensioner, alternator and the belt. It has run nice in 10.000 km after that without problems (its a nigthmare to replace, its so tigth). Today i inspected the belt, belt is still fine, and tensioner is also fine. I cant find any problems.. I have xentry / star, and ithe car charging 14,1 volt at idle. So alternator seems good. It make me thing "something" is stuck from time to time, but not allways. Can it have to do with the AC compressor?? Has anyone encountered something similar? Its same engine in the A-class. Except low stored low voltage errors, xentry dont show any codes.
