Yamaha Rmax winshield advice?
I’ve had my 2024 RMax 4 LE for about six weeks now and I’m starting to look for a Yamaha Rmax windshield. I don’t know many people with SxS machines, so I haven’t seen many setups in person. Most of the options I’ve found are poly windshields, but I’m not a big fan because they tend to get micro-scratches over time and make it harder to see, especially when driving into the sun.
I do like the open feel of riding without a windshield, which is why I’m leaning toward a flip-style one. The factory Yamaha glass windshield looks great, but it seems pretty permanent and the price is pretty high.
Right now I’m looking at the Tusk flip-down glass version with a wiper since it seems to be one of the few flip glass options available.
Just curious if anyone here has experience with flip glass windshields or has any recommendations. Thanks!
