Hey everyone. I'm looking to see if there is anyone out there that has done an evaporator job on a mercedes before that would be interested in tackling the job with me. I have a 1996 w140 s500 and I need to replace it. I'm pretty tight on money right now and my baby is going to be here in the next month or so, and I really need to get the ac working. I know taking my car to the shop for something like this is at a minimum around 2500-3000. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but this is my first benz. I will compensate you for your time.
