Possible part out 16v cosworth - nebraska
Not sure if this is the correct section - there is a tan 16v cosworth / automatic - got in accident a few weeks ago - ive never owned one but been wanting one forever - anyways saw car today sitting in driveway - hit pretty hard in passenger rear wheel / quarter - i think the front end might of had a little damage as well.
Was going to go to make them an offer on the car to part it out - and that way i can get to know cosworth before i own one..
i might sneak over there here in an hour and take a few pics of it in the driveway - might make a note a leave it on the door if no one is home..
What is TOO much to pay for it ? U pull it around here gives $450 for complete cars - most end up going there - is $1000 too much to offer?
Again - sorry if this should be in a discussion forum elsewhere - please have a MOD move it , if its wrong - but i plan to do all i can to go grab it and part it - i am almost out of vw's to part out..
Stopped by left number. He texted me said new hydro pump cost him $1000. Not sure how many miles. He said runs great mentioned to me it's 1986 only 200 of them.. Imported..
He wants $1500 for it as is.... I'm not sure I can justify that.... But I am going to do some research on parts. For parting it out.
He said 125k estimated. Odometer stopped at 108k. He bought car with 85k 5 years ago...
