Caliper Paint (Any Advice)
Hello.
I would like to paint my brake calipers. Can anyone recommend a great product which is long lasting and can withstand a lot of heat generated by braking friction. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

The best by far would be a G2 or similar kit. It's a brush on kit that self levels leaving a smooth finish. It's ceramic, will stand up to heat, and is really easy to clean.

Caliper paint
I can tell you This !! Prep all 4 calipers 1st. Once you add the Activator to the 2 part mix . You Have 45 minutes to get it done. After that the paint brush will stand up like the paint has Viagra

He's right though. My suggestion is to get a wire brush attachment for a power drill and clean the calipers till they shine.

I <3 how this thread was posted in the performance upgrades and tuning forum.
I recommend you learn how to take off the caliper. Painting the caliper while it's still mounted is way too difficult/impossible/retarded.
Once you take off the caliper, you can give it a good cleaning, prep, and paint at your leisure.

I went with the G2 Brake Paint kit. Had it on for a few weeks, and seems to be holding perfectly fine. JL88, it was not impossible nor retarded, and I must say it came out very well. As long as the car is safely secured and the discs are properly covered, painting with the caliper still on is very easy and far simpler than having to go through the entire process of removing and reinstalling all four calipers.
