sway bars..

Has anyone installed Eibach sway bars on a CLK 430? If so, how much less sway is there without doing other mods? Eibach sway bars are the same size as stock, so they must be stiffer.
Thanks

Eibach sway bars are NOT the same size as stock. I installed them on my 430, and they perform much better. They are 6mm wider in the front (not sure in rear).

Front before 22, after 28
Eibach are red:

Thanks. A while back when I got my Eibach springs, I climbed under my car and miked my sway bars, I thought they were the same size. I guess the Eibach sway bars are next.

Found this on the web.
Front Bar Diameter: 28 mm.
Rear Bar Diameter: 18 mm.

500E Signal Rot
You may want to explore the possibilities of using the 500E sway bars, front is 28 mm rear is 18 mm. Hell of a lot cheaper than the Eibach kit.

Won't work. The two cars have totally different frames. Fact is, the way a CLK is designed (or virtually any car), only that same model's sway bar will fit.

Does anyone know if the 500E sway bars will fit a 1995 E320 Coupe?
