I use a greddy filter, the one that looks like a mushroom... not sure about the performance but the sound is great

I have a W203 C240 and I am looking for a few simple ways to boost performance (no bi-turbo for me

Would a "performance" air filter such as K&N, Green (or other) boost acceleration or HP much or ANY over a fresh stock filter?

I think there is a noticeable difference when you use high-flow air filters such as K & N, Green, GReddy, and etc. I just replaced my filters about 2 months ago, and I've only gotten positive results--better gas mileage, more responsive acceleration, and the like. Cleaner and therefore better air always helps the engine. Right now I'm using K & N but I'll experiment with different brands such as the abovementioned. Hope my tidbit helped.
