Re: Superchips for a 420SEL
I understand that superchips.co.uk makes a performance upgrade chip for the W(126) series. Has anyone used one of these chips in a W(126). What are the pro's and con's when using such devices. I'm also open to addtional suggestions on performance upgrades for this vehicle. Thanks!

Quite a few:)
can't see it changing much.. perhaps the timing curve some but that's about it.
You would need to change the programing in both the EZL and KE control unit to have any real effect.
If you want to wake things up below 2500 rpm pull your R16 resistor so you get your full 12-13 degrees initial advance instead of a power/economy robbing 2-3.
