maybe i wasnt clear enough.
at what mileage does your fss prompt you that its time to change the oil. its diff for every car and manual/auto.. i was just curious.

It will also depend on climate and driving style, etc.
My FSS usually kicks in and calls for service at approx 13,000 miles, however, I change my oil and filter myself every 4,500 - 5,000 in between. This schedule undoubtedly extends the FSS schedule.

i put major miles on my car compared to you guys.
i have had my slk230 for about a month now and have already put 6000 miles on it!
should i expect my fss to alert me any day now?
