Things I should look at or work on first!

Hello, I have just purchased a 1989 300TE and would like to do some upgrades to it. The wagon is in fantastic condition and has been very well maintained.
-Is there anyone who has had experience upgrading engine, suspension, brakes and, or exhaust with these models?
-I am in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and would like to find a shop that specializes in doing this wagon up.

Thank you for taking the time to read and awnser my questions.

If you want extra power, my advice is to buy a Turbo Technics conversion kit which includes a full large bore stainless steel exhaust. It should cost you under US$3000 delivered. Contact John Pearson at Hughes of Beaconsfield in the UK.

Your choices and options are going to be limited in Vancouver. Have you tried Deutch Tech Motors out in Richmond? They might be able to help you. You could try and see if anybody could give you some advice on the Vancouvereuro forum.
