1993 190E MAS Unit

My 2.6 190E Sportline has been acting up. Stalling at stop lights. Hesitation in acceleration when pressing down on the pedal. It has been intermittent and hasn't shown symptoms for the last 6 months. At that time I located the MAS unit and moved it around a bit to get a better connection on the pins. Now the problem has reappeared. Has anyone got any experience with rebuilding the MAS unit? You can buy "reconditioned" on line for around $340, but if I know what a rebuild consists of, I can do myself. It's not air or ignition. I replaced the rotor and wires about a year ago. Feedback requested. Thanks. Chip

You should probably contact AdamG@EvoTECH, he can probably point you in the right direction.
