Water Injection? Anyone tried this on C32?
Water Injection? Anyone tried this on C32? I come from the turbo world where stand alone ECU's and water injection are common. I read that the water cooled intercooler is too small to keep inlet temps low.
I am just wondering if H2O injection has been tried? what if any results were gained. This is a cheap, relatively easy way to lower inlet temps, and gain power with the same boost pressure and if a pulley is installed to raise boost, it is cheap insurance against detonation.
Another question: Why is there no clearly visible boost gauge on the C32? I read that it can boost upwards of 14.5 psi (1.0 bar) at WOT and this is a good bit. What are the inlet pressures with a pully like Renntech or others installed? I am guessing about 2 psi higher?
How much power can be gained from:
Pulley
Air filters
Airbox/Hoses/SLK55 intack mods
ECU chip
