I think it's a combination of the following tuners you posted to be called as a tuner car since you have all those mfgs product in your car. Just my $.02

If the tuner has worked on the engine then you've got a "tuned" car.

I think of performance when I think of tuned cars. Bodykits and aesthetic enhancements do not make a car tuned. That doesn't mean I have a problem with people badging their cars however they want. Tuning can range from simple ECU upgrades to full blown craziness like my current CLK project. It's all about the go.

So if you buy a car from Lorinser with no performance upgrades but a full bodykit it is a tuned car?.... I don't think so. If you look at Car & Driver's Supertuner Shootout, it's the upgraded performance that gets those cars in the race, not enhanced aesthetics. Furthermore, Brabus, Carlsson, etc. offer aftermarket tuining as well. They don't just sell complete cars.

Here in HK there are many MB's with the AMG badge on the right side of the trunk, while if you look to the left you will see S320 not S55. I don't have a problem with someone putting a brabus or carlsson script on their car.

Andreas from Brabus NA said something like, if you have an MB with brabus parts its okay to put the brabus script on the trunk or front fenders, but don't put a 6.1 or 5.8 on the trunk unless you have the actual engine mod it represents.

This sounds reasonable to me.

of course the question always becomes difficult when you mix and match tuners...

I have BRABUS wheels, H&R suspension, Stoptech brakes, Eiseman exhaust and an Amg sideskirts, expressions front bumepr and a carlsson rear....What badge can I use?

What if you bought Exhaust from Lorinser, but have a B12 upgrade from BRABUS and slapped a Kleeman on top of all of that... what badge then?

Badge it what you want and whatever makes you happy. If you beat someone than you are faster than them, if you don't than you are not. regardless of the badge.

Yeah badge it whatever you want, just don't badge it with something you don't have.

Yes, ppl can badge their cars by according appearance,as to the engine model, badge it w/truth or left blank for humble.

The best looking style or performance upgrade need not be done
by sole tuner + they're subjective & independent
No needs to limit only complete car as a true tuner's car.

They're part of the promotion tricks from those tuners, we, consumers can judge it ourselves. $.02
