Throttle-blip transmission mod E55
I spent some time searching around the forum yesterday, but didn’t find exactly what I needed. So I apologize in advance if this has been thoroughly covered before.
I’m considering the purchase of a 2005 E55. The ONLY mod I am interested in is a software upgrade that would give me throttle-blips (rev-matching) on my manual downshifts.
Can someone tell me if:
A)This upgrade is possible
B)If possible, is it just a transmission software reprogramming (TCU), or would it require ECU mods as well
C)Who can do it? Renntech? Kleemann?
Again, I am not interested in more power (though that may be nice). I simply want to have rev-matched downshifts when driving in manual mode.

try it out - as soon as you tap the stick to downshift blip the throttle..
