Engine Management

Will the UniChip work to run a heavily modified engine, or do you need something more advanced like complete engine management?

turbo conversion- I don't know much about Unichip and was wondering if it only works on a stock engine to get more power or if it can run other more modified things. The ECU on the benz is supposed to be adaptive, but how much does it adapt to?

According to www.theracersgroup.com the Unichip allows virtually all output parameters to be adjusted. I don't know if the tranny/ESP parameters can be changed but the injector duration and ignition timing should be no problem. As far as fuel for a turbo is concerned you may well need larger fuel injectors and support (pump and regulator) and the appropriate changes to pulse width to accomodate the injectors. I have not worked with the product but the theory is good.

thanks, I am wondering if it could support the fuel management I need. Unichip wrote me and told me that it will work and they have a new chip coming out this summer
