I am thinking of trading my 2000 S500 for an S430 or S500 4MATIC sport. The S500 is pushing my budget with the sport package. So I figured if I go for the S430 and later Kleemanize it, I would not miss the power of the 500.

I don't recall any S-classes on the forum that had Kleeman work on it. Just wondering if they have a package that can install or can it be custom done?

Was at Soverign Mercedes in Brooklyn yesterday. They had a E500 "Kleemanized." They had it done locally, so the guy says. You may want to ask them where, etc...

 

I believe that Zim in Burlingame, CA is doing an S430K as we speak.

 

Right before my CLK50K decision, I test run a S50K locally
check the power gain & reliability feedback from the owner.
W220 + S/C is an excellent platform, quieter & smoother than W209.

I'm in the serial no."70" of Kleemannized car here in Taiwan
and do not count pulley swap of those 200k/230k.

So, can Kleemann sc a S500 here in the US?

No problem to do an S-class, we have done countless numbers of them: 430, 500 and 55. We have just completed a 500 4-Matic here in Colorado- very nice.

shine so are there mostly clks or es or what no in tw that are kleemannized... in general....

 

430 engine will produce approx 427 hp and 420 lb/ft tq.

500 engine will produce approx 500hp and 495 lb/ft tq.

You know the old saying if you have to ask? But I have to.

How much? And how long would I loose the car?

 

The SC system is $14,350 plus installation (which will vary based on labor rate) ball park at about $1500.

We do SC conversions in 3 days in Colorado (inclusive of pre and post dyno testing)- other locations will vary based on workload/scheduling.

Heres a page from a Danish car mag, VMAX. Notice the paragraph at the top "311 kmh", thats 194MPH!

 

Do you have to add Tax to the $14,350? what is tax in colorado anyways? It would be cool if there was a kleemann dealer in Oregon since that state is tax free.
