I have heard that the ecu will adjust timing, etc up to 95 octane.

I am living in the wonderful state of California where we have 91 octane. 100 octane isn't readily accessible to where I live.

What is the next best way to raise the cali 91 octane up to 95? Toulene? if so, what ratio should i use w/ 91 octane? any negative side effects?

like u, im in the bay area. i found toluene but it is too cost prohibitive for the amounts needed. race gas would be the solution but vp in san leandro is hella expensive compared to almaden 76 in sj (which is too far). lol.

 

try ACEs IV, by BND fluids, octane booster, a lot of Audi guys use it, there is plenty written up on it

 

very interesting.. i will search for more at lunch time. The one thing I have noticed is that I cannot find any information re: the cost of the product.

If I remember, a gallon is $250.00, a little less, treats 782 gallons of gas.
