This is not really answering your question as I do not have K headers, but that's what I got from From Cory when I asked about CA smog "California: Unfortunately, our headers are not CARB approved (I don't know of anyone who has CARB approved headers for MB), so I'm afraid it will most definitely fail the visual inspection. Our headers are a cut and weld, and they remove the factory primary catalyst- we replace it with a high-flow cat, but it's not going to be legal in California."
