Xenon Lamps

I have a 2000 S430 that came with halogen lamps. I recently purchased a pair of factory MB xenon lamps. I was told they are plug and play. I was wondering if someone could tell me what I need to do to get them installed. I tried the dealership that I purchased the car from, but they said they had no experience in this particular modification. They aslo mentioned something about a leveling system. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You should just be able to remove your old headlight assemblies and replace them with the ones you bought. I have a CLK so I don't know if you have to remove the bumper or not. As far as self-leveling goes, your lights have the self leveling motor inside them but won't have the self leveling function without installing the appropriate wiring harness and relay motors on both sway bars. This is very time consuming and not really necessary. As long as you have your headlights aimed you shouldn't worry about it.

These are not bi-xenons. I paid $700 for them on Ebay.
