Stop on over and see us! We can give ya a discount for getting it done at the shop!
How much would it be?? I'd love to go this upcoming week up to Houston if it were possible.

I've just got installed Brabus PowerXtra for my C180 Coupe (latest 1.6 petrol engine) - the car's character is completely different, it is a must have for every owner of this engine

If you'll get it installed by your dealer then probably not. I've ordered and got installed my Brabus kit by my MB dealer and my warraty was fully kept. Brabus itself commit guarantee if the kit is installed by authorized MB service.

2010 E63
I am going to have my E63 tuned in the next couple of weeks and read through this thread.

If you only consider the companies that have been doing this for awhile with great reputations would you then really just consider which company's ecu tune gives you the biggest bang for the buck? It seems there is quite a big difference in added HP and TQ between Eurocharge, Weistec and Renntech. Am I missing something else?

2007 E63
i would recommend OETuning
I actually recant my previous statement. I can not recommend OE anymore. I have switched over to Eurocharged after a long, complicated ordeal with OE that was very poorly handled. I am very happy with the results and service I got at Eurocharged.

Details will follow in another section.

Eurocharged. No question. Jerry answered all my questions and took care of me. Jeremy at OE never got back to me, and hence you snooze, you lose. EUROCHARGED is the better choice!

You got to keep your warranty because Brabus is an approved aftermarket tuner for MB. The same goes for Renntech. Any other aftermarket tuner and you can kiss your warranty good bye.

Renntech costs a boat-load because they are an "authorized" tuner for MB. The person who founded Renntech use to work for MB and decided to start his own tuning company. His R&D is most likely ran through official MB benchmarks for safety and stablity. Your warranty will be the safest here.

Weistec is actually one of the few tuners out there took the time and effort for their R&D, and not just piggy-backed off someone else's work. They are the first tuner to build a S/C system for the M156 engine platform. However, I'm not too sure about your warranty here.

Eurocharged, I cannot speak for because I have no knowledge of their history or products. However, they do offer the "best bang for your buck" tune from what I hear. Your warranty is no good here.

All in all, you get what you pay for. Literally.

I wouldn't"

My c32 has 135k mi. If I choose to tune it, what maintenance or engine rehab would you suggest first? Oil, coolant, filters, plugs, wires pulley bearings all done. Compression test?

Does tuning a car with the likes of Eurocharge affect the long term life of the the engine? Reliability?
