W140 S320 performance modifications
hey guys, I'm new to the MB world and I came across a few mods and I was wondering what yall though.
Chip -- speedtuningusa.com has chips for my car for only $250 which is very reasonable in my opinion. 21HP and 25Nm torque is what they claim. Jet Chip charges $400 and they claim about 16-18 wheel HP with 10% increase in torque. Which do you think is the best of the two? have any of you chipped your W140, if so what were the results.
Intake -- I plan to make my own custom intake b/c it will save a ton of money and plus its pretty easy to make a heatsheild. How much should intake help on a 1993 S320?
Exhaust -- Is this even a worth while mod on W140's (especially a 6 cylinder)? What about straight pipes?
How is the OBD1 vs OBD2 modding on benzes? do pre 1996 cars get alot more HP per mod than 1996+ cars?
Also Some chips offer a raised rev limiter, what is a safe amount to increase the rev limiter by on the S320 motors? 200rpm? 400rpm? anyways guys, thanks for your help guys

you don't have to know first hand with S320, I just wanna know if any of you have any experience with modding OBD1 W140 cars regardless if its 6, 8, 12 cyl . I just wanna know what companies are good.
