exhaust upgrades
I just had my CLK 320 supercharged (Kleemann). Much better performance. Now that more air is going in, what will help the car exhale?

This is Alexyu, I also have a kleemann-supercharged CLK320 except my model is W209. I have fitted on the 03' CLK55 muffler and it performs well.

There hasn't been an issue with the transmission. My understanding is that the automatic MB uses can handle the power better than the Standard used in the European model. The Guy form Georgia may know. I'll see what I can do to get him to reply.

........I have had my s/c now for over 20,000 miles. The very first week I got it, I drove from Atlanta to Tucson and back in the summer with ambienmt temp in the 1200 degree range. Also if you notice, my car makes 344HP, 20HP more than other CLK32K's. No problem with transmission. For full disclosure, 6 months ago I did have a waterpump failure which was handled by MBautowerks and Kleeman at no cost to me. I have been very pleased.

I am the builder and am always on these boards.
Thanks for the interest.
The C43 that we added the 5.5 engine, supercharger, boost kit, Random tech cats, chip upgrade and custom intercooler makes 475 at the wheels and over 515 with the Nitrous.
I removed the Nitrous after a piston ring land failure.
So, it makes 475 at the wheels.
I now have the differential out of the car and am trying to figure out a way to get a limited slip for it.
