How much really to get an 07 sl55 to 11.5sec
I am getting rid of an 11.5 sec 1/4 mile Challenger this week, and getting an 07 SL55. Just curious as to how much money one thinks it would cost (no nitrous) to get the SL to that level of power? I know the topics of which mods are best is beat to death. Just talking dollars here so I have a clue what I am up against. I know I will love the car, but eventually I will want that power back. Thanks!

you think like 3k? I have no idea yet who I would go with. All I know is I am going to want to get it to a mid 11 sec car. I am not even going to race it, but it's just a thing about having it at my disposal.

Get yourself a 168/172 pulley call OEtuning (Jeremy), add a set of kleeman headers. Should be good for 11.50s. There are a few pulleys for sale on the site for 650, 1000 for headers about 600 for install on both parts and 700 for tune. Puts you right around 3000.
