Never heard of them before. And considering they use the same part number for a CL500, a CL63AMG and a CL65AMG (three very different engines) I'd steer clear of them.

This little device is actually pretty useful. Modern cars uses the drive by wire system, which is the initial "lag" you tend to feel with MB cars. Sprint booster is another device that does the same thing as the pedal box, only the pedal box has more customization. It essentially ups the voltage that the acceleration pedal is feeding to the throttle and thus you get a "faster" acceleration even though your car is not actually faster. It's only modifying the wiring behind the acceleration pedal, so that's why parts numbers are the same across different engines.
Combining this with a tuned ECU will make your car feel so much better, especially if you're using it for daily driving. A couple of the guys over at the C63 AMG forum have these installed. I, personally, am in the process of getting one myself; just deciding if I want PedalBox or SprintBooster.

I think PedalBox and SprintBooster are about the same...just that PedalBox has more customizable settings; probably used for racing/track applications.
My independent MB guy recommended the SprintBooster for daily driving.
I'm not sure about that voltage module chip, but it says it increases HP and torque, which is NOT something the PedalBox and SprintBooster does. The voltage module looks like it an ECU tune of some sort.

I think a good ECU tune would be much better from a performance perspective than a SprintBooster or PedalBox... especially because most modern ECU profiles loaded from the factory are a bit conservative for reasons of smog laws and fuel economy.
