20+ bhp for £5 ??

Could any one tell me which wire is the AIT sensor wire??

Firstly where is the IAT sensor? (Model r129, 1993 300-24 valve) Is it the thing that’s mounted on the air-duct between the grille and the airbox ? Most importantly what do you technical guys out there think about the idea ??

Came across a topic on the web, how to increase your bhp with out remapping or chipping the ECU. This little devise is a piggyback box containing a resistor; it connects to the IAT sensor or o2 sensor. Basically adds resistance to the wire, which fools the ECU into thinking that the air temperature is colder than it really is. The ECU then changes the fuel air ratio accordingly increasing fuel consumption (I read by about 1mpg) and output by upto 20bhp. It all sounds very good and takes allegedly 10 mins to fit and costs less than £5. If the IAT is the thing on the airbox its got 2 wire which one do I add the resistor too??? Thanks RK in the UK
