2JZ fit in my 04 C230K ?

I want a 600 hp c class. I figure a 2jz with a T67 turbo will hit that hp mark easily if not more... so will it fit without extending the front end? If not any ideas on what performance engine will and of yall know a shop in Texas that will do it.... I'm really going to do it so need my fellow mb lovers help.

You'd probably be better off going with a M113 series engine. Or, using a C55 as your base car to begin with. M113 engines have been pushed to 600hp before. And, you're not trying to fit a Japanese motor in a German car. The 2JZ is one hell of a motor but getting it work work with all of the other mechanics and electronics may not be worth the hassle.

I came across a video on YouTube of some people from Norway that put a 2.5 Skyline engine in a w202 and it was narly! But honestly, why not spend that $ on turbocharging what you already have? Probably be cheaper and you could probably build the engine as well.

never thought about that. Think it will be cheaper? And if fully built what do you think the max power i can get out of it?

I was thinking about swapping a 2JZGTE into my 1998 Mercedes C280 or the buying pre-1998 or C36 models because they are straight sixes like the 2JZ. My goals would be to convert it to a manual transmission (which Mercedes didn't make available on the U.S. W202s) and get more power while doing so. I'm in California
