kn air filter choice

2001 mercedes e320 wagon
kn air filter choice
Have kn filter in stock box 2001 e320 wagon. Want better sound. Know wont gain big power but will kn apollo system( tube hooked up to inlet at grill) work? they dont make for e320 but looks like easy mod. I am aware that stock box is engineered very well. If so which kit wood work best? Thoughts

Ok. So you used your own design skills to run air from the grill inlet to the tube and in? Did you gain anything? Im ready to stay stock air unless I hear that youll get something. thanks for the input. Shawn

so the 2 by 3 inch hole at the grill for my stock box is not big enough to take the intake tube youre talking about? Could you show the web site for the specter tubing? Thanks. Shawn
