CKS Performance VS Eurocharged- CLK55
Hey guys, I have a 2001 CLK55 AMG. The car is entirely stock. 75,000 miles.
I have seen this for ECU flashing that will give me some power.
The chart says it will give my stock car 402ft/lbs and 387hp, and also remove the speed limiter.

Eurocharged offers a similar product, but only for 2002 on up. I have never heard of CKS Performance, and since I live in the United States I was going to purchase their OBD cable to allow them to tune my car remotely.
Questions:
-Has anyone used CKS Performance? I am hesitant to use them because it seems the Eurocharged tune for 2002+ is $800, and this is about $300USD (Had to convert from British Pounds, on their website).
-How will this tune play with other modifications? I plan to get the Renntech air box, and a free-flowing exhaust system. And in the next year or so, long tube headers.

I thought the same thing. I spoke to Eurocharged direct about this and CKS told me the use Eurocharged tunes. I also chased a TCU that was sent to CKS with Eurocharged as it was sent to Eirocharged in the USA so it took a couple of weeks to get back.
Just read your post again and $300 doesn't seem to be the correct number this would equate to 200 pounds. Is this what was quoted to you by CKS?

It's still less than $800 though from Eurocharged.
