I've spent a bit of time reading the posts to this specific subject, I'm still confused on one or two aspects.
With strict emissions testing I want to retain the cats.
Upon removing the resonater (here goes) does it affect the cats?
Lastly for this particular engine is the X-pipe recommended?
The objective is more sound, not concerned with increased performance.

PS: Are K&N Filters worth the expense? About $200.
