Thoughts on aftermarket seats?
SO I was doing some research and planning on purchasing some aftermarket seats for myC204. I would like all the C owners inputs on their takes for good aftermarket seats since I Want to do some light track days with my car, but also am keeping it as a daily driver for now until I get my new daily driver car, and will eventually convert my C204 inot a full trailer queen. For the price, quality, and the weight reduction (and since I have purchased their products before), I was interested into purchasing the Seibon Carbon fiber seats. In my Corvette I had the sparco Evo seats, and they were great, but what other brands would you recommend? I am looking for a lightweight seat, and ones that are adjustable are of no convern to me, but I might get an adjustable passenger seat for my passenger on longer driving commutes. I will eventually be removing the rear seats out of my coupe, but will retain all car insulation, and sound deadening material. Here is a pic of the Seibon seat, and for the price I think its a great deal. I have purchased their hood and trunk and am pleased with the quality.

Former Vendor of MBWorld
I was debating whether or not to post seats on the forums since most MB owners don't like to change out seats.
The seibon ones are light weight. Not the best quality in the world but will get the job done. Let me know if you are interested and I can work out a price for you.

Just read your comments on your new purchase, I am also planning to purchase a 2008 S550 with 57000 miles. I have been reading all the horror stories about the transmission going bad because of the defective Valve Body, was that the reason you rebuilt your transmission and do you know if the Valve Body is replaced will that prevent a failure of the transmission. The car I am purchasing was well maintained and serviced by MB and it has never missed being serviced. I did notice that at 25000 miles the transmission was removed and installed, not sure what the reason was, then at 52000 miles, the internal transmission was repaired, again I dont know what was done. Does anyone have any ideas what type of repair was done, is it possible that they already replaced the Valve Body, thanks

Owned my CL600 since 2017, bought it off original owner with 76K now 110K five years later.
Cars so incredible , but I hate the expensive and frequent repairs.
Other cars Ive owned , none of which compare to the CL600 refined luxury
