eclass w221 gear box surges
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum I have always brought mercdes but this one is given me trouble I had a new turbo and now the gear box problem sometimes I have to put high Rev's to getting it moving also when come to pick up speed nothing happens but this morning I came of the motorway turned into where I was working car went into vibration the dash lights came one the car cut out I took the keys it restarted without hesitation and its driving fine I took it into mb tec he put on the star machine he said it's common the senor gone and I don't need the whole valve plate he will do the speed senor and a full service oill and filters he said this will sort it out can someone please tell me will this solve it it's going to cost £700 pounds

i run a transmission shop and i cant tell you, i have no idea what codes you had, what sensor he is replacing. Unfortunately with out seeing the car nobody is going to be able to tell you
