1995 E320 Cabriolet Engine Swap! What engine to use!?
I am looking to increase my financial stimulation of the local economy down here in South Florida so what better way than giving a blank check to put some speed in a 1995 E320 Cabriolet?!?!
Being an AMG addict (even though I am in an Audi S8 deviation that will be over shortly) I am looking to kick the ragtop's inline 6 to the curb in favor of more horses and my need to KIM (keep it moving).
My goal is to be speedy, and a bit more diabolical without coming off as a total south florida doucebag (which is may still be considered regardless)
So two questions.
1. If you had an open checkbook but still had a grain of rationality, what MB powertrain goes in? (a 2002 c32 was a current thought)
2. Any tips on someone that would love to take on the project in south florida? i like a fair deal, they are usual better than cheap deals
Thanks from a new(er) User

6.0L M119 V8 ... not the C32 (fine little motor, but you could've had a V8!). Pierre and Jeff at European Starr in Sarasota are more than capable- they're both ex Renntech guys and have tons of experience with the 6 liters.

Thanks Speeddriven1. I am on the other coast but definitely will reach out to European Starr as an option.
As far as motor choice if the 6.0l m119 was easier to come by I would make it happen, but looking for something more common that can deliver me of my inner speed demons...m113 5.4l comes to mind hmmm
