A Class adjusting throttle cable

Good afternoon,

Yesterday I bought a 2005 A200 with a diesel engine, but when the car is idle, the engine creates a lot of noise, however, if I apply a bit more RPM's, the engine become quieter.
How can I adjust the throttle cable and pull it just a bit more?

Thank you.

It's not a noise per se, it's just a noise of a diesel engine but sounds like it's undertuned. It sounds like if the engine would have 50-100 more RPM's it would be quieter.
I did test drive the car before buying it and I've noticed it then. It's not something that sounds to me like a faulty engine and that's why I asked if I could tight a bit the throttle cord instead of putting the car in a gaage for them to tell me it's ok.
