Exhaust Upgrade for E55

Is there a difference in hp power increase if you were to get lets say a Brabus exhaust vs RBTech vs Lorinser vs Eisenmann or Carlson?

Thanks!

Not really. An exhaust alone will not give you any significant power gain. An exhaust gives you: weight savings, looks, upgraded sound. The stock AMG exhaust system flows VERY well. We dyno tested an E55 with and without exhaust/resonator and the gain was a little over 1hp. To maximize gains, you would need to do intake, headers, exhaust.

A lot of German tuners do. It's just that very few tuners sell them in the US because there's very little market for them. EvoSport offers MKB line of products, including headers and cats for the E55.

No headers for V???

I don't remember reading anything about headers or cats on your E55, Mr. V. Are you going to keep the engine stock so it is covered under warranty? How long do you plan to own the E55? Just curious.

No, I don't have them on my car. There's one E55 in SoCal that has the headers, cats, cams and rear diff. The car is quick! I'm not sure how long I'll have my car. Unfortunately, the car I will drive is dependant on what the business requires.
