Race mode on non S W213 E63
Hey!
we just upgraded from 650HP C63s to the new E63 (non S)
it’s our shop’s project / demo car, on which we have already mounted a powerbox on and it’s insane. vbox numbers soon
thing is.
we have looked up and the differential part numbers are the same on E63.. and E63s. I don’t get it why they say one is mechanic the other electronic.
theoretically, by spoofing / remapping / coding the infotainment system.. we can activate both Race and Drift mode on an non S E63, since the engine ECU has Race mode in its map.
has anyone tried this before? how did it go?

Up
Larger brakes - modified to larger size floating rotor
Power - Renntech HHT took care of it
Drift / Differential mode - still trying to figure
Race mode and track pace - heard possible but very expensive to map
that being said. I know some will ask why not buy an E63S in the first place? In where we are, for every $1k increase in sticker price vs US or UK, our sticker price goes up by 2-3k. So an S version would typically cost north of 30k USD
