Hey guys, I'm new on this forum, so sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong place (although "performance upgrades" does seem appropriate).
So basically, we have an OM606 lying around, and I was thinking of stroking it to 3.2 or 3.3 liters. First question is, would a ~90mm crankshaft fit inside the block or would I have to machine it down a little? (I don't really care much if I just add a small plate between the block and head or take shorter rods. Though we planned on doing the former) Another question I have is, would the crankshaft from the OM603 3.5 liter be stronger than the crankshaft from a BMW M57 3.0? I want to go for something that can withstand more stress.
Thanks.
