Fully disabling driver safety aids for track
I've read on this forum and others more than once about driver assistance and safety features not being completely disabled even though the driver has set them to be off in menus or with buttons.
For those who drive on race tracks and/or in autocross, what are your experiences with this? Has collision avoidance ever kicked in? Emergency brake assist? If so, which system was still active, in which model car? In the GT forum, I've seen people posting pics of their cars on track with bumper sensors covered. Cars are emerging braking when the series of cars in the racing line compresses entering a corner. Someone said Mercedes SOS called them in-car during hot laps. Off apparently does not mean off.
Specifically, this is in regards to a 2017 C43 I'd like to buy this week. I want to know if this car with P4 package with all driving aids will be a problem on track or at autocross.
Thanks

That was the one and only car I have ever bought brand new. I drove it to about 120,000 miles, constantly in a 'drive it like you stole it' fashion! A 2-door coupe 5-speed manual with 18 hp extra over the standard neon thanks to 16v DOHC. Engine was leaking oil. Traded it in on a certified pre owned (Starmark) 1994 E420. The E420 and MBCA led me into autocross and HPDEs.
