Thoughts on a turbo timer for the E55K
I was tinkin about it and after driving your car hard for a lil while I'm sure you wouldn't mind lettin your engine cool off by lettin it run for a minute or two after you get to yer destination. I was thinkin of addin a turbo timer so I can let the car run for about a minute or two to sort of "cool down" the engine? Do you guys think this will work? Good idea or a WTF are you thinkin idea?

Waste of money. Turbo's run at much higher temp's due to being driven off the exhaust gas. In addition turbo timers really came about due to a number of turbos being oil cooled, shut the engine off and the coke the oil on the shafts. With water cooled applications the water continues to circulate after the engine has been shut off.

since we can't even install aftermarket alarms or remote starters on the newer benzos, I don't think a turbo timer is even possible....
