PCV modifications?

I was recently told by my mechanic that a high blowby rate was the cause of my 8v 190e's stalling. He suggested I route my PCV to a high performance breather unit that would trap the blowby oil in a receiver and return the rest of the air/blowby into the air intake. Ever heard of this kind of fix? If yes, where do I get such a beast? If no, what remedy do I have to high blowby?

High Blowby

Yes, I have heard of such a problem. A filter will keep the oil content down but it does nothing to address the root cause.

It sounds like you have leaking rings or valve stems. In an ideal world the amount of blowby is minimal and easily handled by the engine.
