So i decided to have my 2016 C200 w205 tuned to stage 1.
car is making 155kw and 380nm.Stock is 135kw and 320nm.
Car is much quicker but i noticed that upshifts are much quicker, i find myself in 7th gear very quick.Car has a 9g tronic gearbox.Is this normal.
Under hard acceleration the car holds its gears quite well up to 6krpm before changing.Its just cruising at low speeds when i experience quick upshifts.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

If it’s something you don’t like then you should have a conversation with your tuner to see if he made changes that affect that. He might be able to revert that part of the tune back to stock.

I do the tuning on one of my cars (1230 HP lol) and can tell you it’s typical to quicken the shifts (if the transmission allows) when making more power. Slippage can generate a bunch of heat and potential failures at higher HP ranges. But you’re not at that point at all and the modest power difference in your tune could certainly allow for stock-style shifting if you want.
